LakeFest on Sept 7th Offers Free Family-Friendly Fun

On Saturday, September 7th, a LakeFest will be held at Endicott Rock Park in the Weirs. The Festival is free and open to the public; parking is free too.

Festival happenings (mid morning – 4:00 pm) include live music from from The O’Brien Clan and The Floods. Accomplished storyteller Gail Druker will capture the attention of multiple generations. Fun activities include LakeFest Bingo and Kayak Limbo. Attendees can check out educational displays, purchase food, get their faces painted, and peruse potential purchases from Irwin Marine, including a lineup of Old Town canoes and kayaks. Raffle tickets for a brand new 12’ Dirigo Old Town kayak with paddle and PFD will be available for just $5 each, or 5 for $20, at NH LAKES’ tent in the Festival area.

Of course, you don’t want to miss the Guinness World Record attempt for largest free floating raft of canoes and kayaks at 10:00 am – click here to register, and help us capture a Guinness World Record for NH!
