LakeFest on Sept 7th Offers Free Family-Friendly Fun

On Saturday, September 7th, a LakeFest will be held at Endicott Rock Park in the Weirs. The Festival is free and open to the public; parking is free too. Festival happenings (mid morning – 4:00 pm) include live music from from The O’Brien Clan and The Floods. Accomplished storyteller Gail Druker will capture the attention of multiple generations. Pledges Accepted for McManus Property Purchase

Pledges Accepted for McManus Property Purchase

Frank McManus accepted a $1,000 offer from the Association for the 1.8 acre parcel off West Shore Rd that abuts the York Parcel (currently owned by the Association). McManus asked that legal fees be handled by the Association. Bob Proulx estimates fees to be about $500. Residents who would like to pledge to this purchase should send a check payable to LWIA to Jay Buckley, PO Box 87, Plymouth, NH 03264.

While our group was a bit smaller this year (in general we’ve seen fewer folks coming up to the lake this year) for the potluck, those in attendance had a grand time and enjoyed many delicious dishes.
