The Waukewan and Winona Watershed Protective Association will be presenting a free seminar on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Meredith Community Center.

Sara Steiner, NHDES VLAP Coordinator, is the guest speaker on LAKE WATER QUALITY: GOOD, BAD AND UGLY. She will discuss what water quality means for the future of NH lakes. What are different factors that may or may not affect lake health? Learn how to understand water quality data. What are the historical trends of area lakes? What parameters are monitored and why? Issues of phosphorus and cyanobacteria.
