The Water Quality Report was updated after the meeting with corrected information about the milfoil that was found in the past on Lake Waukewan. No milfoil has been found on Lake Waukewan in the past few years. Unfortunately, the health of our lake has deteriorated and we all need to be protectors of our lake.

A cyanobacteria bloom was found on Lake Winona this year. At the time of this posting, we are awaiting additional testing.

Karl West and John Mills produced a lake depth map in 1983. It is posted on the website and you can view here. It is with sorrow, I let you know that John Mills passed away in August after a fall and brief illness. Condolences from the LWIA are extended to his family.
