The Lake Association’s 15th Annual Summer Social & Potluck, held on Saturday, August 6, was blessed with a beautiful, albeit hot 90-degree day. Over 40 lake owners and their families attended the event, bringing with them delicious dishes and desserts to share.  Anchorage Rd resident Eric Foster handled the burgers and dogs with expert hands. A big thank you to The Anchor Club for offering their lawn, grill, lodge, and beautiful views for our event; to Lakes Region Tent & Event for donating tables and chairs; and to Nora Foster for managing the event.

Attendees were treated to a Lake Winona trivia contest, and door prizes (beautiful notecards by Winona artist Penny Burke) were won by Don Thibeault and Gary Gurske. A short rain shower forced us into The Anchor Lodge for the business meeting, which was held at 1:30 PM and covered a range of topics. Meeting minutes will be emailed when available.

LWIA members elected Nora Foster as the Association’s new Vice President and Linda Barnes as Secretary. We are pleased to have Nora returning to the Board (she was LWIA Secretary from 2007-2016) and welcome Linda to her new role!
