New Hampton Nature-Fitness Trail Nearing Completion

Over 1 mile of fitness trails and 20 fitness stations are nearing completion in New Hampton along the Pemigewasset River. Some finish work is still in progress and signage will be installed at each fitness station. The trail will be leveled and ledge pack will be installed across the main trail. The slalom ski course, originally approved by the NH Department of Safety in August 2012, was approved for the 2014 season. It is located on an 850′ stretch of water near The Anchorage. Per the NH Department of Safety permit, the ski course can only be operated Monday through Sunday, from noon to sunset.
