First Round of Water Testing Conducted on June 16

Thanks to the efforts of Lake Winona residents Linda and Mark Heminway and Ted Saia, the first round of water quality testing is complete. The three volunteers drew samples from various spots along the lake to test for signs of bacteria and to track water quality and the impact of lake turnover. Samples were taken to Plymouth State for testing. Results will be shared with owners once available.

At our August 20, 2011 meeting, the by-laws committee (Lee Libby, Don Thibeault and Dave Reilly) presented their suggested revisions to the LWIA by-laws. The by-laws, originally created in 1972, had not been amended since 1986.
