The Waukewan and Winona Watershed Protective Association is hosting a free educational seminar on how you can prevent the introduction of exotic weeds and other invasives to your lake. With the rise in infestations among NH lakes its especially important for shore owners to know how to identify harmful exotic weeds and other invasive plants. If spotted early, many of these invasives can be eradicated before they become a serious and uncontrollable threat to our lake.

The seminar will be held August 23, 2012, at 6 pm at the Meredith Community Center. Amy Smagula of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services will be presenting.
