DES Posts Final Decision on Lake Level

DES posted their final decision on the lake level yesterday. It calls for Waukewan to be at 540′ and a draw down to 538.5′ after Columbus Day.  The plan depends very heavily on quick and aggressive reaction by the dam operators to rain events in order to maintain this level.  Whether or not this is a reasonable expectation, time will tell. 2011 Lake Association Meeting Set for June 25

The first lake resident meeting will be help on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 10 AM. Jean Chute is once again graciously providing her home for the meeting. Agenda items include: update on interim lake level decision; motion to update association bylaws; lake water quality testing; skiing/tubing law review (a representative from Marine Patrol will attend); and new business items from residents.
