The LWIA’s Summer Social and Potluck lunch will be held on Saturday, August 15, at noon. The Anchorage Lodge has once again graciously offered their location for the event, which will allow us to host the event rain or shine. The NH DES has identified 14 exotic aquatic plants that are prohibited in New Hampshire due to their abilities to choke surface waters, harm native vegetation and wildlife, impact recreation, and lower property values. The Kayak & Canoe Race, held on August 16, was a huge success and a showdown between the Islanders and the Anchorage. Racers met at Ted & Donna Saia’s dock on West Shore Rd.
